-
Lenovo Yoga series, as well as some of the IdeaPad series, has a small reset button on the right side, requiring a paperclip/SIM remover tool. Simply press the reset button without booting the computer first. ↩
-
On Microsoft Surface tablets and the Steam Deck, you must hold down either volume button while pressing the power button to boot into BIOS or from USB. ↩
-
On Apple Macs equipped with ARM processors (M1, M1 Max, M2, etc.), keep holding the power button down after the Apple logo appears to access advanced boot options. ↩

Some models of ThinkPad Carbon X1 laptops require a startup interrupt by pressing the Enter key when the prompt appears. Note that mashing the Enter key will not work, as the system will ignore any keyboard input if any key is pressed before the prompt. ↩
